Man shot and injured during robbery in Larkana

LARKANA: A 30-year-old man, Naveed Jokhio, was shot and injured by two armed motorcyclists when he resisted the snatching of his bike, cell phones and cash here on Tuesday within the limits of Market police station.

Naveed told reporters that two armed men surrounded him when he was coming out of his cattle pan located in Ali Gohar Colony and asked him to handover bike, cash and other valuables. He gave them everything, including CD-70 2008 model & cash of Rs 60,000, but resisted their move of forcible snatching of his two costly mobile phones.

This infuriated the gangsters and they shot him with a pistol which hit him in the left thigh and then they fled with cash & bike. The injured was rushed to Casualty of the Chandka Medical College Hospital, where doctors described his condition stable. Jokhio demanded stern action against the criminals who have become very active nowadays in entire Larkana district.
