Man shot dead at Khalid bin Walid Road

KARACHI: One man died and two other were injured in different firing incidents while a three days old strangulated body was recovered from different areas of metropolis here on Monday.

As per the rescue sources, a 45-year-old man, Mohammad Ramzan, son of Ghulam Mohammad was injured by firing of unknown armed men near KFC on Khalid Bin Walid Road. He was being rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Hospital but died on the way.

Separately, rescue sources said that another incident occurred near Khalid bin Walid Road where a man was injured by firing of unidentified armed men. He was later identified as Riaz Maseh, 40 and rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Hospital.

On the other hand, two men were injured by unidentified armed men near Nagman Mosque in Lyari. They were identified as Imran Ali 20, and Shakir Hussain 25. Both got bullet injuries and were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.

Meanwhile, a rescue team recovered a three days old body of unidentified armed men, aged about 40 years from Suhrab Goth area. It was shifted to Edhi mortuary.
