Meeting decides legalizing Placement Bureau

KARACHI: The 16th meeting of Placement Bureau, an organization comprising different companies established to provide employment and internship to youth, was held at Commissioner House on Saturday which decided to legalize Placement Bureau.

A focal group was formed for this task that comprised 6 persons, Secretary Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research and Development Board (BBSHRRDB) Karim Bukhsh Siddiqui, Ihsan ullah Khan, Masroor, Anwaar Siddiqui, President Employees Federation of Pakistan and Assistant Commissioner Laghari.

Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui while presiding the meeting said that the bureau was a nation-building. He said that youth of eunuchs would also be given internships, employments and trainings. BBSHRRDB should also play its role for the eunuchs.

The commissioner said that the plant of Placement Bureau was becoming strong tree with the cooperation of different organizations. Karachiites youth were benefitting from the bureau and it would be extended into interior Sindh also. There would come a day when all the youth of Pakistan would be getting benefit from this.

President SITE Association Younus Bashir said that reduction of unemployment could only improve the law and order situation. The improvement of law and order would encourage businesses hence create more new employment.

He said that business community would provide all-out cooperation to the government and administration for the betterment of citizens.
