Minister: (Provision of basic facilities to masses govt’ top priority: Nisar)

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the government is giving special emphasis on early completion of development projects in the health, education and social welfare sectors.

He was speaking on the occasion of foundation stone laying ceremony of different road projects here on Sunday. He said provision of basic facilities to the general public is the top priority of the government.

He laid the foundation stone for the construction, repairing and widening of three important roads of Rawalpindi. The projects will be completed at a cost of over one billion rupees.

Koral Chowk to Nur Khan Air Base road will be completed at a cost of Rs 502 million. G.T Road Sawan to Scheme-3 project will cost Rs 313 million, while portion of Adiala Road will be completed at Rs 285 million. The repairing and widening of these important roads will help reduce traffic problems in the city.
