Minorities demand resolving their issues

KARACHI: Pakistan Hindu Seva and Sindhi Hindu Youth Wing Nawabshah chapter on Wednesday held a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club to highlight their issues.

Later addressing a press conference, President Hindu Welfare Trust Sanjesh Bhanja said they are facing several issues including the issues of health and education which should be resolved on priority.

Representative of the trust Vijay Kumar said there is only 5% quota for minorities but it needs proper implementation. He said most of the government officers are hired on the basis of bribe instead of merit.

Pakistan Hindu Seva Vice President Chander Kohli, Research Associate of PHS Ravi Chouhan also spoke.
