Karachi: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday demanded to extend polling time to let voters use their right to vote.

Talking to media here, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that some forces are trying to reduce the margin of MQM votes.

He regretted that polling process started at some polling stations after much delay.

Dr Sattar claimed that PTI and JI have admitted their defeat and anytime they would announce boycotting the polls. He said their party activists have been tortured in Landhi.

However, MQM leader Dr Maqbool Siddiqui said that LG polls in Sindh are contradictory to the constitution. He said that opponents may have overestimated their result and due to this they are alleging for rigging. He hoped that MQM will bring its mayor in Karachi.
