Only few people in the world live selflessly and lay their lives for others and nation building and indeed Azmat Ali Khan was one of them, those who were close to him will witness his angelic personality. America, Europe and the western world have developed so much which is the result of technological advancements and excelling in the field of science and technology. Study of science subjects must be included in the grass route level such as primary education for inculcation of scientific vision and knowledge.
Muslim world is far behind from the western world because they forgot the scientific pathway of their ancestors who were once the leaders and mentors of the western world. Azmat Ali Khan’s greatest services were the enlightenment of the scientific vision and promote the message of science to the common man and its importance. Development and advancement in the modern day world is not possible without development in the field of science and technology. He was addressing the Launching ceremony of Aeteraf-e-Azmat in the honour of renowned Editor/journalist and writer Founder of Bazme Science Adab Mr. Azmat Ali Khan organized by Vice President Arts Council Prof. Ejaz Farooqui at Arts Council Karachi.
Islam gives us the lesson of research and scientific vision but we have forgotten this great message. Prof. Aijaz Farooqui said that Azmat Ali Khan possessed great affiliation from Science, and if taste of Literature is added in Science, then it enhances its potential. Organizing of such great event in his memory is highly commendable. Azhar Abbas Hashmi said he was my mentor, teacher and friend, due to his affiliation from the followers of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, he termed Science and technology mandatory for development and such personalities are born in centuries.
Prof. Dr. Tahir Masood said that Azmat Ali Khan laid his life to enlighten the nation the basic postulates of science and technology and to develop scientific vision among them. He wished to have scientific literature in the mass communication course of KU.
The secret of the development of the western world lies in science. Mahmood Sham said that his services will be remembered forever, such great people are difficult to find in our society. Real change will take place not only with slogans but with scientific knowledge. Prof. Sahar Ansari said that finding such people in our society who were so selfless and angelic is a very uphill task; his services for the promotion of science and inculcation of scientific vision could never be forgotten.
Nuzhat Abbasi said that he laid down the foundation of Bazm e Science Adab which has now become a very prestigious institution which is only due to his visionary approach and far sightedness.
