NAB arrests Mohib Ullah Khan Ex-Project Director Bannu Development Authority

Peshawar: NAB (KP) today arrested Mohib Ullah Khan, Ex-Project Director Bannu Development Authority who allegedly awarded illegal contract of Sui Gas Pipe Line to Bannu Township without fulfilling codal formalities thus causing a loss of Rs. 8.155 Million to the public exchequer by illegally paying premium on non scheduled items.

During the investigations, it was revealed that Mohib Ullah Khan was holding the charge of the post of Project Director (BPS-19) Bannu Development Authority (BDA). The accused in connivance with Ex-Assistant Director BDA and Contractors Wakeel Khan and Tikka Khan prepared fabricated documents by showing that a tender scrutiny committee meeting was held and approved the so-called contract.

A reference against all the accused persons has already been filed in the Accountability Court Peshawar. The accused will be produced before the Accountability Court Peshawar tomorrow for obtaining his physical remand.

Other accused persons in the case Ex-Assistant Director Shams-ur-Rehman and Wakeel Khan Contractor SNGPL had already been arrested and sent to Central Jail Peshawar on Judicial Remand.
