NAB files case against its retired officer

QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan fired a reference against two persons including its former officer in the Accountability Court.

According to NAB Balochistan sources it conducted investigation against Col (R ) Mohammad Ishaq former Additional Director NAB for corruption and misuse of powers. It led to Col Ishaq and another Samiullah Kakar who posed himself as NAB officer recovered money from people. Both Col Ishaq and Samiullah made corruptions in the postings and transfers with officials of other departments.

Col (R ) Ishaq who was a senior officer and fully acquainted of all Rules and Regulations (SOPs) and law did not allow him extended illegal help to Samiullah and thus misused his authority and damaged prestige of the Institution.

Both Col Ishaq and Samiullah Kakar were arrested. On completion of investigation a reference has been filed against the two in Accountability Court.
