NAB (KP) apprehends broker Zahid Iqbal for taking Rs. 10.00 million as a bribe from contractor Arshid Majeed

Peshawar: NAB (KP) today arrested one Zahid Iqbal from Peshawar who had taken Rs. 10.00 Million as a bribe from contractor Arshid Majeed promising to use his good offices in NAB to close the famous Police Weapons Inquiry. Ex-IG Police Malik Naveed has already been arrested in the same case.

The accused was wanted to NAB (KP) but he had gone into hide after sensing the gravity of the situation. The accused during initial interrogations has disclosed some important information. In light of this, further arrests will be made soon. The accused will be produced before the Accountability Court Peshawar tomorrow for obtaining his physical remand.
