NAB (KP) arrests Khiyal Ahmed in illegal transfer of forfeited property

Peshawar: NAB KP has arrested today Khiyal Ahmed a private person who allegedly involved in fraudulent transfer of property worth millions of rupees forfeited by Supreme Court of Pakistan in connivance with Officers / officials of Revenue Department Peshawar.

As per details, the matter was brought into the notice of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Authorities. Taking cognizance of the matter inquiry was authorized to ascertain the real facts and collect requisite evidence regarding the subject matter.

During the course of inquiry / investigation it was revealed that in the year 1991 Supreme Court on reference of Custom Court had forfeited the property worth millions of rupees in the name of Ayub Afridi, his sons and nephews.

The accused Khiyal Mohammad fraudulently transferred the forfeited property in his name through the active connivance of officers / officials of Revenue Department Peshawar and thus tried to pave the way for Ayub Afridi to retake forfeited property.

NAB KP is actively perusing the case and more alarming facts and names of some high profile persons are expected to come forth in the scam. The accused person will be produced before Accountability Court Peshawar for obtaining their physical remand.
