Karachi: Pasban e Pakistan President Altaf Shakoor has said that their struggle would continue till ending the present system based on injustice and exploitation and bringing a new system where the rights of all citizens are fully protected.

Addressing a protest rally in front of Karachi Press Club (KPC) here on Tuesday to condemn the disappearance of Saad Usman Siddiqui, the son of Pasban general secretary and Karachi Province Committee convener Usman Moazzam, he said the difficulties and hindrances cannot deter us from our struggle to change the prevailing political system based on exploitation.

He said the missing of Saad Siddiqui since June 11 and his no recovery till today shows the failure of this system. He said uphold of law and constitution could not be maintained by pressurizing the system.

Altaf Shakoor said the eighteen-year history of Pasban shows that we have never compromised on principles, and neither can we do this in future. He said the morale of the Pasban activists is high and they vow to struggle for giving the downtrodden people their due rights as per the constitution of this country.

He said the centre of the politics of Pasban is to serve the masses, remove the wrongdoings of this system, status quo, VIP culture and feudalism, and uphold the law and constitution. He said this is why we adopted the legal way for recovery of Saad Siddiqui and informed all related departments and institutions about this but in vain.

He said when the missing son of a respectable politician is not recovered in six days; it is enough to understand what the government could do to resolve the problems of common man.

On the occasion, Usman Moazzam and other leaders and workers of Pasban were present who demanded immediate recovery of Saad Siddiqui.
