New diagnostic machines in ISDS soon

Karachi: Institute of Skin Diseases Sindh (ISDS) administration has approved a summery to equip the hospital with latest diagnostic machines and also repair the out of order machines in order to maintain standard healthcare delivery system in hospital in future.

Additional Director General, Institute of Skin Diseases Sindh (ISDS), Dr Manzoor H Memon while talking to the media said ISDS is the largest skincare hospital of Pakistan where significant number of patients with skin related problems comes for treatment from different parts of the country. He informed that administration of ISDS had decided to make re-functional out of order machines and also equipped the hospital with the latest diagnostic equipment.

He said Director ISDS Hayat Baloch was taking every possible step to bring new diagnostic machines on the earliest and Secretary Health Iqbal Hussain Durrani is also taking keen interest to equip the hospital with latest machines. He hoped that out of order machines would be made re-functional soon, while the summery to equip ISDS with new diagnostic machines had already approved in this regard in order to improve health delivery system.

Director, ISDS Dr Hayat Baloch said efforts were underway to improve health delivery standard in skin hospital and vowed that ISDS would be ranked among top hospitals of the country in near future. He said huge stock of medicine was available in hospital and strict action would be taken against doctors who prescribe medicines from private medical stores.

He thanked the health department Sindh officials for giving attention on skin hospital for betterment of institution and public.
