New power outage hits Muharram rites

NAUNDERO: New power outage schedule enforced on second Muharram for 12 hours out of 24 has rendered the Shiites to perform Azadari at night in darkness as load shedding starts from 11.45 pm during which power supply remains shut for next three hours up to 2.45 am which means electricity is supplied for three hours only and next three hours are closed and Azadari is continuing up to 2 am.

The timings schedule prepared by SEPCO authorities only suit them to hide their massive theft of the power which is going on right under their nose since very long and with their consent because they have so far failed to install meters at the doors of those consumers who have illegal direct connections but they have done nothing either to remove them or to bring them into the net. Approximately 10,000 cable connections are working in Naundero and its adjoining areas. The gas authorities have installed almost same number of meters in the town but Sepco meters are below 1000, which has exposed their mismanagement. Power supply remains closed during school timings i-e 11.45 am to 2.45 pm due to which education of the students has been ruined. Will the concerned authorities look into the matter quickly.
