New PTF SVP Imran to work for development of tennis in Pakistan

Karachi: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Monday announced that Imran Ahmad has been appointed as its Senior Vice President.

Imran is a former professional tennis player who has played on national and international tennis circuits. Imran Ahmad, who is also popularly known as Tony in Tennis circles, will join the Management Committee of PTF and has been tasked to look after tennis development in Pakistan.

It is hoped that he will use his extensive playing background and organisational skills to promote tennis in the country, a PTF release said.
