One killed, four injured in road mishaps

KARACHI: A man was killed and four others were injured in different road accidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

A youth, aged about 25, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in New Karachi No. 7. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.

In another road mishap, three persons, Amir, 30, son of Mohammad Sharif, Yar Mohammad, 25, son of Bakhtiar and Allah Dad, 18, son of Gul Badin, a resident of Metroville, were critically injured when a speeding vehicle hit them near Alflah Bank in Orangi No. 5. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Yet in another accident, a youth, Arsalan, 25, was injured when a vehicle hit him near Imam Bargah in Nomaish Chowrangi. He was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
