Opportunity as well as facilities to be provided to women voters, Minister Finance

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister, Muzaffar Said Advocate said that an opportunity as well as facilities would be provided to women voters for casting their constitutional right to vote in the PK-93, Wari, Upper Dir-III, by-election.

He was addressing to a public gathering in Wari, in Upper Dir, organized in connection with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)’s election campaign in the PK-93 by-election. He said that the tri-patriot alliance of JI, PTI and QWP will win the by-election on Sept 15 easily.

District Nazim of Upper Dir, Sahibzada Fasih Ullah, MPA, Mohammad Ali Kohistani, Former- MPA, Malak Behram Khan, PTI’s Sajjad Fayyaz and others were also present at the occasion.

The finance minister said that the Chief Minister (CM)Parvez Khattak and Amir-e-Jamaat-e-Islami, Siraj Ul Haq, was coming to Wari and will address to a big gathering in Wari. The minister said that the alliance of the PTI and JI was on bases of principles.

And the decision of an alliance in PK-93’s by-election was done after consultation of the PTI’s provincial leadership with Imran Khan. Mr Muzaffar said that the PTI and JI were the riders of the same boat. He said that their alliance would be remained forever.

He said the JI was taking part in the election on bases of its performance, adding that the former MPA, Malak Behram Khan had done lots of developmental work in PK-93. Muzaffar Said stressed on JI’s workers and advised them that convey the message to give a’ vote to JI’s candidate on Sept 15’ to each and every voter of the constituency.

The minister said that some of the PTI’s workers had come into the deceit of the PPP. However, they would be pursued very soon because they are our brothers and allies. Mr Muzaffar said that a best local bodies system had been introduced in the province by the PTI’s led collation government. And other provinces including Punjab and Sind were following their system.

The minister said that a ‘veil of backwardness’ was removing from the province through that system, adding that the provincial government was spending Rs420 billions through local governments to eradicate problems and issues faced by people on grass root level.

Sahibzada Fasihullah, Mohammad Ali, Malak Behram, Malak Shah Nawaz and others also addressed at the occasion. They said that Upper Dir was a strong hold district of the JI. And the PK-93 is among the strongest of all where the JI candidate had never been defeated. And this time, too, its candidate could not be defeated.
