PAF Hajj contingent leaves for Jeddah

KARACHI: A PAF Hajj Contingent led by Air Marshal Saeed Mohammad Khan, Vice Chief of the Air staff comprising 73 pilgrims left for Jeddah from PAF Base Faisal on Wednesday. The Pakistan Air Force Hajj Contingent was seen off by Air Vice Marshal Salman Ahsan Bokhari, Air Officer Commanding, Southern Air Command.

While talking to the Hajj pilgrims, Air Vice Marshal Salman Ahsan Bokhari, said: ”I congratulate you for your selection to perform this sacred duty. It is expected that you will exhibit exemplary discipline and sense of patience. You are not only the representatives of a highly organized Air Force but also ambassadors of the country in the holy land. Hajj provides us an opportunity to shed away our mutual differences and flourish unity, sacrifice, equality and care among the Pan Islamic brotherhood.”

He also asked them to offer special prayers for the country, the armed forces and the PAF. The Hajj contingent included Officers, JCO’s, Airmen and Civilian employees of the Pakistan Air Force.
