Pak nationals in Libya urged to get them registered with embassy

Karachi: Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International Ansar Burney after closure of Tunis border with Libya has requested Pakistanis stuck in Libya because of civil war and closures of airports to immediately contact the Pakistan Embassy at Tripoli to get them registered.

He requested with Tunis Prime Minister Mehdi Jumma and also Egypt Government to reopen their borders as soon as possible to issue transit visa and border to save thousands of lives of innocents facing hardships in Libya.

He said that almost 18000 Pakistanis including 175 illegal immigrants in detention centres at Libya are stuck due to civil war and closures of airports and their life is now at risk.

He said the embassy has now opened its 24 hours Emergency phones and contact numbers in Tripoli are: 00218922379368 (Mr. Ayaz Khan) and 00218922555216 (Mr. Kamran).
