Pakistan women cricket team Asian Games training camp from Sept 14

Karachi: The training camp of Pakistan women cricket team, which will participate in the 17th Asian Games, will be held at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore from September 14 to 17. The cricket event of the 17th Asian Games is scheduled to be held from September 17 to 28 in Incheon, South Korea.

It is pertinent to mention that the women in green will be defending their title which they won in 2010 in Guangzhou, China. The Pakistan women cricket team for the event comprises of fifteen players and three officials.

Squad:

Sana Mir (Captain), Bismah Maroof (Vice Captain), Syeda Nain Fatima Abidi, Sidra Nawaz, Nida Rashid, Jaweria Wadood, Asmavia Iqbal, Marina Iqbal, Aliya Riaz, Kainat Imtiaz, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Qanita Jalil, Sania Iqbal, Anam Amin, Sadia Yousaf. Reserves: Rabiya Shah, Maham Tariq, Iram Javed, Nahida Khan.

Officials: Ayesha Ashar (Manager), Mohtashim Rasheed (Coach), Rifat Asghar (Physiotherapist).
