Pakistani girl Sheeba Asad wins international essay award on peace

KARACHI: A talented Pakistani student Sheeba Asad Malik has won the best essay award for Asia on “Maintenance of Peace” by UNSE and other regional organizations.

The competition was organized by The Hague University of Applied Science and UPeace, which was participated by the best easy writers form different region who were selected by the jury for competition.

Ms Sheeba is law graduate and has special interest in reading and essay writing. She was awarded a fully sponsored trip to attend the third Hague Peace Conference in The Hague, Netherland.

It is pertinent to mention here that in this perilous time, when terrorism has become synonymous with our region, we need youngsters like Sheeba telling the world that we are a peace living country. It was truly a historic occasion when one of our own made it to his prestigious event representing Pakistan and demonstrating that we want as nation is peace.
