PCG apprehend 88 illegal immigrants

Karachi: Pakistan coast guards (PCG) apprehended 88 illegal immigrants including Afghan nationals from Nalient near Gwadar (Baluchistan).

Pakistan coast guards (PCG) officials apprehended 88 illegal immigrants including 19 Afghans and 69 Pakistanis along with Toyota Hilux during spot checking at Shahjahan Road check post. These individuals were proceeding to Iran without any valid documents and were poised to use sea route, resorting to unauthorized crossing.

After initial investigation, all apprehended persons were handed over to FIA for further investigation.
