PCG apprehended 420 illegal immigrants

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) officials on Tuesday apprehended illegal immigrants from Nalient/Jiwani near Gwadar in Balochistan.

According to PCG Public Relation Officer Major (R) Zafar Ahmed, PCG officials apprehended 42 illegal immigrants during spot checking at Shahjahan/Panwan road checkpoints. He said these individuals were proceeding to Iran without any valid documents and were poised to use sea border, using unauthorized crossing routes.

He said after initial inverstigation, all apprehended persons were handed over to Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) for further probe.
