PCG apprehends 61 illegal immigrants

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) apprehended 61 illegal immigrants including Afghan nationals from Nalient/Jiwani near Gwadar, Balochistan.

PCG officials apprehended 61 illegal immigrants including two Afghan nationals during spot checking at Shahjahan/Panwan road check post. These individuals were proceeding to Iran without any valid document and were poised to use sea border for unauthorized crossing.

After initial investigation, all apprehended illegal immigrants were handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) authorities for further interrogation.
