PCG arrest 95 illegal immigrants

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) apprehended illegal immigrants, including Afghan nationals, form Jiwani and Shahjahan Road check-post near Gwadar in Balochistan on Thursday.

PCG officials apprehended 95 illegal immigrants, including 39 Afghan nationals and 56 Pakistanis, during spot checking at Jiwani’s jetty and Shahjahan check posts. These individuals were proceeding to Iran without any valid documents and were poised to use sea route, resorting to unauthorized crossing routes.

After initial investigation, all apprehended persons were handed over to FIA authorities for further investigation.
