Peshawar Forest Institute Valiant Boxing club wins Azadi Cup Boxing championship

PESHAWAR, Aug18: Peshawar Forest Institute (PAF) Valiant Boxing club have won the Azadi Cup Boxing championship. A two day championship on the special directives on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association (KPOA) organized in PAF University of Peshawar in which huge number of boxers made their participation across the district.

Different categories were played in the two days Azadi cup tournament. Irak Nazir, were declared gold medallist in the 30 Kg weight competition while Iskhaq also have also won the gold medal of 32 Kg weight competition.

However, in 36 Kg weight competition Sameer, in 39Kg Aanas, 42 Kg Aqib, 45Kg Ramesh, 50Kg Kamer, 56Kg Hamza and in 60 Kg weight Shabeel have met with gold medal title of the event.

Qamar Zaman, General Secretary KPOA, who was the chief gust on the conclusion while Taj Muhammad Khan, associate secretary of the provincial Olympic association, Atif-ur-Rahman, former member of provincial assembly and Atrat Nazir Bhatti, secretary KP Boxing Association were also present.

At the end of the event the chief gust warded trophies and distributed medals among the winner boxers. Meanwhile a number of spectators also attend the final competitions and enjoyed them.
