Physical tests of referees for “FIFA Referee List 2016” today

Karachi: Physical tests of referees for “FIFA Referee List 2016” will be conducted Khanewal Stadium in Khanewal today (Friday).

According to the PFF spokesperson, Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat President PFF has said that maximum international opportunities will be provided to the Pakistan Referees.

According to Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi, 14 FIFA Elite, FIFA. A. , EX-FIFA and National referees have been called from all over the country for the said test.

FIFA Elite referees include Khurram Shehzad (Kohat), Shafaat Habib (Rawal Pindi), Mohammad Ali (Peshawar) and Hadayat Ullah (Noushki).

FIFA .A. Referees include Majid Khan (Rawalpindi), Dilawar Khan (Quetta) and Arsalan Sharif (KHI).

EX-FIFA Referees include Rana Naseer Ahmed (Faisalabad) and Irshad Ul Haque (Rawalpindi).

Whereas national assistant referees include Adnan Anjum (Okarra), Mohammad Waqas (Bahawalpur), Mehmood Ul Hassan (LHR), Asad Mehmood (KHI) and Javed Akhtar (Quetta).

Eight referees will be short listed after the physical fitness test out of above mentioned 14 referees. The names of the selected referees will be sent to FIFA for the year 2016.

PFF has nominated Mian Abdul Bari EX-FIFA referee, Salahuddin Awan MA AFC Instructor and Mohammad Arif Siddiqi MA AFC Instructor. Mohammad Babar Khan Manager International Affairs PFF has been nominated as the coordinator for the test.

The successful referees will be appointed in the International matches by FIFA and Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
