Karachi: PIA, in order to facilitate its valued Umrah Zaireen is committed to provide best possible services through most economical fares in the market. The airline is also operating extra Umrah flights between Pakistan and Jeddah to cater and accommodate the ever high influx of Umrah Zaireen, PIA spokesperson, Haneef Rana said here on Wednesday.

Advertisements have already been placed in leading newspapers wherein Umrah fares have also been specifically mentioned with the request to valued Umrah Zaireen not to pay over and above the specified fares.

Furthermore, in order to extend best possible services to valued Umrah Zaireen, PIA management has decided to open extra section flights in reservation system for all travel agents enabling them to book seats on first come first serve basis.

It is expected that if travel agents effectively utilize and implement the protocol proficiently then not only all travel agents will be able to get seats but will also serve the Umrah Zaireen more efficiently.

It is pertinent to mention here that extra Umrah flights have been mounted for Jeddah exclusively for Umrah Zaireen and the airline has prohibited travel agents to book passengers other than Umrah Zaireen i.e. those passengers who are holding Saudi work permits or returning residents, this he said was in conformity with Saudi Immigration regulations.

The travel agents who fail to comply with the said protocol and guidelines will be subject to penalty in line with IATA rules, PIA spokesperson concluded.
