KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Mushahidullah Khan said on Tuesday that after the continuous defeat in the elections, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should change his name to “Loser”. The local government elections should be conducted in peaceful environment. He said again PML-N had restored peace in Karachi successfully.

He said this while addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club. He said the ongoing targeted operation against the criminal elements in Karachi is not against any political or religious party, and it would continue till its success.

He said PML-N supports the parliamentary role of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). He said Karachi plays key role in the development of Pakistan. He said institutions and democracy will strengthen through the local government elections.

He said the transfer of power to the low level is the beauty of democracy and the recent local government elections are the tests for Sindhi people. Talking about the party affairs, he asked people to vote for PLM-N and said that not a single ticket is distributed to anyone on division level. He said it is not the policy of PML-N that Kalabagh Dam be made without consensus of all provinces.
