PN rescue operation concludes

Karachi: Four-day long search and rescue operation of Pakistan Navy for the victims of SeaView beach successfully concluded today. Pakistan Navy called it off after civil administration thanked for its tremendous contribution in aid to civil power.

In the aftermath of tragic incident Pakistan Navy swiftly responded to the request of civil administration and launched grand scale Search and Rescue operation by mobilizing its resources. The operation involved SeaKing helicopters, PN diving teams as well as speed boats and Zulu boats.

PN SeaKing helicopters with diving teams onboard have been deployed for extended duration during the entire op there by resulting into recovery of bodies from an area of 10-15 Nautical Miles radius.

Pakistan Navy is committed with its resolve to stand by the Nation in every time of distress, says a handout.
