Police claim arresting six criminals including two bandits

KARACHI: New Town police on Thursday claimed to have arrested six alleged criminals, including two bandits, and recovered weapons, a vehcle, property worth of millions rupees and toxic susbtance from their possession.

According to a police report, Station House Officer (SHO) New Town, Inspector Asif Mansoor, and his police party during patrolling in his area had an encounter with two dacoits in which two brothers Raza and Saroosh were apprehended. The police also recovered two magazines, eight rounds, and a snatched motorcycle at gunpoint from their possession.

They also claimed that both bandits were wanted to police in various crime cases. Further investigation was underway.

In another raid, the same police party arrested a robber, Khursheed Maseeh, the resident of Iram Plaza, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The accused was involved in robbery in the house of complainant Raheel.

Police also recovered millions of rupees property from his possession. The police also arrested a drug peddler Syed Kareem and recovered 108 kg drugs powder from his possession.
