Police recover hostage, arrest four accused

KARACHI: Karachi police claimed to have arrested four accused and safely recovered a hostage from their possession in the metropolis. SSP East investigation told the media that seven-years-old child Abdullah, resident of House number 1080, Mansehra Colony, who had gone missing on 07 March, when he left home to attend a Madarsa situated at same area.

Family members informed the police about the missing of the child son on the 8th March.

Police registered a case no. 65/2016, against unknown accused on behalf of his father and started investigation.

Today police traced a call of accused that they made for receiving ransom money and raided the hideout of accused near Chaman Plaza Compound in Quaidabad.

During raid police arrested four accused named, Ayaz, Akmal, Shehzad, and Mohammad Mustafa, and recovered hostage child from their possession.

Further investigation is under way.
