Police to hold sensitization workshop on Jan 30

KARACHI: Sindh police are conducting various sensitization programs and workshops for police personnel in collaboration with different NGOs. The series of awareness sessions are being arranged on the directives of IGP Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali. Being the focal person, DIGP Training Sindh, Dr Jameel Ahmed, is organizing such workshops in Public Private Partnership.

In this connection, a two-day workshop on “Community Policing and Gender, Minority Issues Sensitization for Police Personnel” will be started from 30 January, 2015.

The workshop is being arranged in collaboration with Legal Aid Society in Indus Extension Hall, Avari Towers. Justice (Rtd) Nasir Aslam Zahid and others will deliver lectures on community policing and issues related to genders & minorities.

The session will aslo be attended by police personnel from FIA, CIA Karachi Police, Madadgar-15, under trainee policemen at PTC Saeedabad. In first phase, 46 police personnel will attend the workshop.
