Political leaders encourage young scientists

Islamabad: Five leading elected representatives have appreciated the efforts of nine students who won medals in seven international competitions bringing a good name to Pakistan.

They asked the students to strive for a better tomorrow and asked the educationists to provide more opportunities to students so that Pakistan can have a bright future.

Turkish educationists have provided a good platform to students to excel, said Minister of State for Education Balighur Rahman, Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, State Minister of Petroleum Jam Kamal Khan, Deputy Chairman Senate Sabir Ali Baloch and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi while talking to a delegation of students, teachers and directors of Pak-Turk at the National Assembly.

At the occasion the delegation informed that that fifteen Pak-Turk students have represented Pakistan in seven international competitions held in Kenya, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, US, Holland and Indonesia in 2014 to win two gold medals, two silvers and five bronze medals for country.

Commenting on the development, Director Education Pak-Turk International Schools & Colleges Kamil Ture said that such a success could not have been possible without the hard work of students and dedication of teachers who are providing an enabling environment to students.

Positive interaction with the legislators was a source of inspiration for the management as well as the students, said Ture.
