Karachi: The postponed second edition of South Asian Men Netball Championship, which was initially scheduled to be held from June 23 to 26, will now be held from October 22 to 25 at Liaquat Gymnasium, PSB Sports Complex in Islamabad.

Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) had to postpone the event because they were unable to get the green signal from government authorities to host the foreign teams.

“The championship could have been easily hosted as per the original schedule but we were forced to postpone it due to delay in NOCs for foreign teams participating in the tournament,” PNF Secretary Mudassir Arain told PPI.

He added that PNF has again sent formal invitation for the new dates to South Asian Countries namely India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Bangladesh. The last date of confirmation is August 8.
