PPP blames federal govt for defeat in Badin

KARACHI: General Secretary Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Senator Taj Haider alleged that federal government influenced the bye-election in PS-59 Badin District by using of paramilitary forces, and the PPP tasted defeat.

While addressing to press conference at Karachi Press Club (KPC) Taj Haider claimed that 70% staff of polling station, Rangers crossed their limits and harassed the PPP candidate and polling agents.

Waqar Mehdi, Lateef Mughal, Kamal Chang, candidate from PS-59, Nawaz Chandio and others were present.

Haider alleged to federal government had stolen the seat by using paramilitary forces, who stopped their candidate from entering polling stations.

The PPP leaders warned the federal government that use of institutions for abusing peoples will bring difficulties for them.
