PPP chairperson briefed about flood situation

SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed about the flood situation by irrigation department as flood water entered Sindh from Punjab. The briefing was held in the presence of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and local MNAs and MPAs.

Bilawal also took a full round of Sukkur Barrage to personally see the preparedness for the heavy flow of flood water. Water flow at Sukkur Barrage was recorded 178,000 cusec on Thursday. Bilawal emphasized for continued alertness until the tide ends up into the ocean.
