President for improving educational standardJanuary 2, 2015
Karachi: President Mamnoon Hussain on Saturday stressed the need to improve the educational standard in the country.
Talking to a delegation of educationists at State Guest House here, he said that education always needs attention as it plays an important role in building a great nation.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor of Karachi University Dr. Mohammad Qaiser, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Law University Dr. Qazi Khalid Ahmed, Chancellor Jinnah University for Women Wajeehuddin Ahmed, Chairman Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai, Dean of Social Sciences, IBA Dr. Huma Bakai, Prof.
Dr. Ahsanul Haq, Dr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, Dr. Farooq Azam and Prof. Kaleem Ghias.
The President said that educational institutions have to work hard to create leaders invested with genius for the future.
It was the first and foremost responsibility of educationists to teach correct and better methods of education to students, adding that, they also be provided modern techniques with the help of internet.
He said that all available resources would also be utilized for improving the educational standard.
