President for showing soft image of country through rich culture

Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has stressed that Pakistan’s rich culture needs to be presented to the world to show its true soft image.

He stated this while inaugurating the exhibition on Cultural Heritage marking the Pakistan Day celebrations at Lok Virsa Museum in Islamabad on Friday.

The President took a round of the Heritage Museum and showed keen interest in the different pavilions of the four provinces, besides Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He also enjoyed the music of all regions of Pakistan presented by folk artistes.

The President in his remarks at the visitors’ book said he was pleased to see rich culture of Pakistan.

He said the presentation of cultural heritage was not only important to depict distinct identity but also to pass on ethos and values to next generation.

President commended the efforts of all those who contributed to preserve cultural assets and presentations of culture.

The exhibition was organized by Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage.
