Principal injured in firing

KARACHI: Principal of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Law College, Riaz Bilour, was injured in firing incident near Landhi Manzil Pump area of Karachi on Saturday.

Police told media that Riaz Bilour was on his way to the university when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on his vehicle, as result, he got seriously injured, police told.

The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment, where doctors said that his condition was critical. He was shot in the stomach twice and in his chest once, police claimed.

According to immediate inspection, police said that there were no visible bullet holes on the car itself, leading them to assume that the armed men were present inside the car at the time of shooting.
