Protesters demand transfer of MS Landikotal hospital

LANDIKOTAL: Hundred of people protested at Landikotal. The protesters were demanding early transfer of the MS of Landikotal hospital here on Sunday. The protesters were carrying placards and banner inscribed with slogans against the health staff at the agency headquarter hospital Landikotal.

They were led by Malikzada Nadim Khan and others. They lauded the governor KPK actions for sending inspection team to monitor the performance at the hospital, saying the MS of the said hospital was corrupt that is why he should be transferred. He said that maximum doctors were absent from their duty which was causing problems to the local patients in this bordering area near Torkham border.

The speakers like Shah Mohammad Shinwari and others also condemned the excessive load shedding and demanded of the high ups to reform the institutions so that public problems could be solved at their door step.

Meanwhile, Tanzeem Ahl Sunnath also held a rally at Landikotal to condemn the blasphemous caricatures published in the French magazine. Qari Syed Alam Shinwari demanded of the government to close the French embassy in Islamabad and send back the French ambassador to loge a powerful protest so that similar blasphemy could not carried out in future.
