Provincial Selection Board clears officers for promotionsAugust 10, 2014
Karachi: The meeting of Provincial Selection Board was held on Monday under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana to take up promotion cases of civil service officials.
It was attended among others by Senior Member Board of Revenue Malik Israr Hussain, Additional Chief Secretary (P&D) Mohammad Waseem and Secretary Services Shafiq Mahesar.
The Provincial Section Board reviewed the promotion cases of Home Department, Health, Population Department and Forest and Wildlife Department. In meeting these officers were cleared for promotion in BPS-19.
A statement said that Lady Superintendent of Prison Ms Shiba Shah of Home Department was cleared for promotion from BPS-18 to BPS-19.
Senior Medical Officer Waqar-ul-Zaman and Dr Fareeda Sheikh was also recommended for promotion in BPS-19 BPS in General Carder Doctors.
However, Senior Pathologists Dr Mohammad Haroon, Memon, Dr Bashir Ahmed Brohi and Dr Maqbool Bablani were cleared for promotion in BPS 19.
Senior Paediatrician Dr Haseena Suleman and Dr Ghulam Shabbir Sheikh, while senior ENT specialists Dr Gian Chand, Dr Nazir Ahmed Shaikh, Dr Ashfaque Ahmed and Dr Syed Mohammad Khalid were cleared for promotion in BPS-19.
Senior Cardiologist Dr Sikandar Ali Shaikh, Dr Syed Shoaib Sultan, Dr Irshad Ahmed Memon and Dr Riazuddin Shaikh, while Senior Chest Specialists Dr Javed Ahmed Sheikh, Dr Bal Chand, Dr M Suleman Otho, Dr Sikander Ali Shah and Dr Gulzar Hassan Qureshi were also cleared for promotion in BPS-19.
Deputy Director Nursing Ms Mehboob Sultana was cleared for BPS-19, while Habibullah Soomro, Ms Musarrat Yasmeen, Moold Chand, Khalida Parveen and Muhammad Aslam Memon were cleared for post of Principal Nursing in BPS-19.
In Forest & Wildlife Department Ms Fehmida Firdous Conservator of Wildlife was cleared for BPS-19, while Dr Farzana Shaheen of Population Welfare Department was cleared for BPS-19.
