PTA satisfied at hides and skins’ transportation

KARACHI: Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) South Zone on Tuesday expressed its satisfaction over the peaceful and smooth transportation of hides and skins to the Zannery Zone during Eidul Adha. PTA Chairman Rehan Hannan and Convenor Law and Order Committee and CPLC-NC Fawad Jawed expressed their gratitude to the law enforcing agencies, especially DG Rangers Sindh and his team, DIG East and SSP Police East, for making necessary arrangements for peaceful transportation of skins and hides to the collection centres set up in the Tannery Zone.

They said that unlike previous years, no significant incident was reported by any collection centre or the transporting staff in the city. They said that if the peaceful atmosphere is maintained in future as well, the city once again will become the most earning and job providing city and economic activities would again flourish. He said that due to the water scarcity in Tannery Zone, several industries have closed down in the past few years.
