PTF organizes Syed Tajammul Abbas Memorial Tennis Championships from Oct 15

Karachi: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is organizing Syed Tajammul Abbas Memorial Tennis Championships at S. Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad from October 15-20.

Patron Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas, who is also Vice President (South) and Board Member of Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) is sponsoring this National Memorial Tennis Tournament in memory of his brother Tajammul Abbas.

The first edition of Syed Tajammul Abbas Memorial Tennis Championships was held in March in 2011 and since then the event has been organized annually. The championship carries a prize purse of Rs 250,000 along with daily allowances to all out station players.

The events to be competed in the tournament are men’s singles, men’s doubles, boy’s U-18 singles, boy’s U-14 singles, ladies singles, senior doubles 55 plus.

All interested players are advised to send their entries before October 13 to referee Shahzad Akhtar Alvi.
