PTI announces resigning from assemblies saving K-P assembly

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) here Monday announced that saving the provincial assembly of Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, where PTI led provincial government is in power, the elected members of the party would resign from all other assemblies including the national assembly.

After a meeting of PTI core committee at the residence of their leader Imran Khan at Bani Gala, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi announced that they would resign from the National assembly and the provincial assemblies of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.

Regarding the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, he said they would also resign from the K-P assembly but presently as there is PTI-led provincial government it would take some time and resignations from the K-P assembly have been postponed for some time. He said after consultation with their coalition partners there they would also give resignations in that province.
