Naudero, Sindh: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that PTI has completed talks with ‘political jirga’, adding his party has not demanded any unconstitutional thing.

Talking to media at the residence of Hisamuddin and Qaimuddin Bhutto at Aastana-e-Ghousia here on Saturday, he said if talks fail the government will be responsible.

He said that containers have been placed on roads illegally despite court orders. However, he said that their sit-in will continue, which he claimed has become the symbol of what he called a ‘new Pakistan’.

He said political movements are strengthened with arrests and use of force against them, adding if the rulers think that arresting their activists will weaken their struggle then they are mistaken. He said that after button charging and firing bullets on the sit-ins their workers have become tough.

To a question, he claimed that PTI workers are busy in helping the flood affected people in Punjab, adding they are also attending the sit-in in Islamabad.

He said that his relations with Bhutto family are very old. He, however, criticized the PPPP and said that those who have come now into PPPP are newcomers, but still they have become the owners of party.

Qureshi said that the vision of Bhutto has been replaced with ‘politics of looting money’ adding this was the reason why he left the PPPP. He said that what he had said before general elections was proved true because the PPPP was vanished from Punjab and managed to win just one National Assembly seat.

PTI Vice Chairman alleged that PPPP has become a ‘B team’ of the government and acting as ‘friendly opposition’. He said that he feels a change would come and when it came then the people in Sindh will also join PTI.

He alleged that government jobs were sold during PPPP era and poor people were ignored during the past rule of current PPPP. He said PPPP & PML-N have been in the government in Sindh & Punjab respectively for several times but they have been failed to do anything for the betterment of the people.

Later, Qureshi visited the graves of Bhutto leaders in Garhi Khuda Bux and offered Fateha, laid floral wreaths. After this he went to Mirpur Bhutto to offer condolence on the demise of the widow of Pir Bux Bhutto.

While addressing a ‘meet the Press’ program at Mirpur Bhutto, Qureshi said that Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif befriended PPPP, after having an agreement with Sindh National Front’s Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.

On the occasion Mumtaz Bhutto said that Nawaz Sharif has not fulfilled the agreement, hence he has called Central Executive Committee meeting in which the future line of action will be decided.

Makhdoom Qureshi said that Sindh bureaucracy is being used for political purposes. He said that he contested two seats of Tharparkar but due to massive rigging he was defeated. He said that rigging is not only confined to Punjab but it was also done in Sindh and Balochistan.

He later left for Larkana to condole the death of Dr. Begum Ashraf Abbasi with Dr. Safdar Abbasi and Haji Munawar Abbasi.
