PTI holds big show in Lahore

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) held a big public gathering at Minar-i-Pakistan Lahore on Sunday, pressing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign. It set a big stage at the public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan in which thousands of his party members and supporters participated.

Addressing the participants, PTI chief Imran Khan said continuing sit-in in Islamabad had set a world record, adding he would continue it till Sharif’s resignation.

Khan asked the people of Lahore to promise him they would not leave his side and in exchange vowed to stand with them in all circumstances. He said: “If Nawaz does not resign, then he would also not end sit-in and continue it till his ouster.

He thanked the people of Lahore for participating and said that he would continue his struggle for bringing in new Pakistan.

He said one day the slogan of “Go Nawaz Go” will echo in Nawaz Sharif’s home. He asked the people of Mianwali to be ready, as he would be holding his next rally there on Thursday. He said after Mianwali he would stage a procession in Multan.
