Qamar criticizes India propaganda

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) former federal minister for water and power, MNA Naveed Qamar has criticized India for propaganda against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and warned to stop dictating the policies for the region.

The wicked activities of India in Pakistan were dangerous not only for Pakistan but for the region and in this India itself would equally in dangerous, he said.

Pakistan had always acted as a very responsible state and tolerated the wicked activities by India and stepped forward for creating friendly relations with all the neighbouring countries.

In a statement issued from Media Cell on Tuesday, Naveed Qamar said the CPEC would only bring prosperity to the two countries, but the corridor would also have its positive impacts in the entire region. He said CPEC would help eliminate terrorism from the region and people of the entire region would find unprecedented means of trade and living.

He said India was on top the list for high grade human rights violations and the massacre of innocent Kashmiris, was a bloody blemish on India’s face, which could never be washed off. The international community should take notice of vast scale violations of human rights in Kashmir and entire India. He demanded

Qamar said India had always used tactics to divert attention of the international community from poverty, unemployment and separatist movements and struggle of people of Kashmir for freedom and had usually made a show of sheer cheapness.

He suggested that the Indian government should only focus on welfare of the people of India and should avoid meddling into the affairs of others.
