Rajwana lauds role of govt

Karachi: Governor Punjab, Mohammad Rafiq Rajwana has said that the present government achieved its target to ensure the betterment of economic condition and bringing the investors out of the atmosphere of fear. The role of parliament, Pak Army, Civil Society and other law enforcing agencies are commendable and solid strategy and comprehensive policies have improved the confidence level of internal and external investors.

He expressed these views while addressing the overseas, chamber of commerce & Industry here on Tuesday. Senator Saleem Zia, president of overseas investor Shahab Rizvi, Secretary General Abdul Aleem and Nadeem Lodhi besides senior member of multinational companies were present on this occasion. Governor said that the better law and order situation and traders friendly policies are being made in order to strengthen the national economy. He lamented the wrong policies of previous government which made the country dark but with the visionary leadership of prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the law and order situation was not only improved but the country is now visible in the race of national development.

He reiterated that country would be in better condition during 2018 years with regard to the energy production after completion of C-Pack and other energy projects. He made it clear that the international Property Right, Commercial Courts and Banking Courts existed but they must be improved with the legislations of the requirement of present era. He further said various issues after passing of 18th amendment have been transferred to the provincial government and the problems being faced by the trader’s community shall be resolved with the cooperation of provincial government, he added.

Earlier president Shahab Rizvi gave briefing about the establishment of overseas investor’s chambers commerce industry and its activities. The governor lauded the services of overseas investors for bringing the foreign investment in the country.

Later, Governor Punjab Mohammad Rafiq Rajwana visited the Mazar-e- Quid and laid the floral wreath. While talking with the media -men he said that the Pakistan become separated in result of political mistakes and could not have the true Pakistan today but combined efforts of political and social circles are required for the development and prosperity of the remaining Pakistan. He lauded the exemplary efforts of all those figures of Pakistan movement but sacrifices of Muhajirs belonging to Karachi cannot be ignored, he added.
