Rangers arrest more than 6 hardcore criminals

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday arrested more than six accused from surrounding areas of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters, Nine Zero including Khursheed Memorial Hall and also recovered weapons from their possession.

Spokesperson Pakistan Rangers Sindh informed that Rangers party conducted a series of targeted raids on the surrounding areas of MQM Headquarters Nine Zero and Khursheed Memorial Hall and arrested more than six hardcore criminals who were later identified as Fasial Mota, the killer of Journalist Wali Khan Babar who has already been convicted and sentenced to death, Farhan Shabbir alias Mullah, Amir, Nadir who convicted and sentenced 13 years and Obaid K2. However, the identification of other criminals was in progress. A huge quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from their possession.

Further investigation was under way.
